I picked this antenna up a few months ago and played with it at the house in a dipole form as well as a verticle. Both times I was using chameleon 17’ and 25’ whips.
It was easy to deploy and performed so well. But nothing made me like it more than when I went up to the mountains for some overnight operating.
In this instance I put it up on the 25’ Chameleon Porta Mast and used the drive over base to hold the mast up.
I had extended the 17’ whips nearly 100% out and used the chameleon QD attachments to make installing the whips easier due to the height of the mast fully collapsed.
It went up quickly and performed so well.
It was also quite the attention getter from those walking by lol
