What a cool radio. The AnyTone AT-D578UV III Plus is easy to MARS mod/unlock for GMRS use, runs DMR and APRS without a fight, supports AES-256 encryption, and manages a relatively small overall footprint for what’s a full-featured 50W radio.

Pair it right and it does everything
Pair this radio with the BT-01 wireless remote and a Digirig for digital ops, and you have everything you need for UHF/VHF analog and digital comms in one package. The BT-01 lets you tuck the actual radio body somewhere out of the way and operate from the head unit, and the Digirig makes DMR hotspot use and other digital modes a non-issue.
