So I snagged the Buddihex antenna just before the 2026 field day. Initially I didnโt want to get their tripod/mast system (I have since gotten it as well), but when I initially snagged the antenna I wanted to use it on my existing 25โ porta mast.
For those that donโt know, the Port Mast has a โtopperโ add on that you can get to use standard โclampsโ to attach antennas to.
This is what the top of the porta mast looks like

But when you add the topper to it (see below) it gives you a little extra height and also adds options to attach antennas

But the buddihex uses an โAโ beam pole that is proprietary to their mast/tripod system. So i found this 3d print that allowed me to put the โA beamโ in it, and then put this inside a piece of metal conduit.

This is what my setup looked like. You can see the 3d printed piece in the conduit and the conduit โclampedโ onto the mast topper piece.

This worked extremely well and allowed me to put the giant hex beam into the sky using an existing mast I had and no guy ropes.
The porta mast held it perfectly for 3 days with zero issues.
